How do I earn Points?

Simply use your Visa Credit Card with Rewards. You will earn Points on net purchases only (purchases less returns and other credits). There is no cap on Points and your Points do not expire. See the City National Rewards Program Terms, Conditions and Program Rules for details.

How do I redeem Points for Awards?

Log in or create an account at CNBRewards.com to view and redeem Points.

How do I use Apple Pay and Google Pay?

Open the selected app, tap the “+” sign and follow instructions to add card information and to activate the card. You may also find detailed instructions at Apple and Google support. Apple and Google Pay come pre-installed on most newer iOS and Android devices, or you can download the apps in the App Store or Google Play store.

To open an account, you'll need to complete a Business Lending Application Form and/or a Personal Financial Statement Form as well as a Single Name Aggregate Exposure Report. Additional information may be required. All applications must be submitted through a Relationship Manager. Visit a branch, call us or send us a message and a Relationship Manager will help you open an account.

City National Rewards is a rewards program offering Points for credit card purchases using a City National Visa Credit Card that comes with City National Rewards. Points can be redeemed for a variety of items: cash back credits, gift certificates, merchandise, airfare, hotels, travel packages and more. Virtual cards are digital versions of credit cards created by City National Bank and distributed to recipients through Extend³ at a cardholder's request. They have a unique card number, a unique security code, and an expiration date. Sending a virtual card does not require an extension of new credit or a transfer of funds. Instead, a virtual card accesses the credit line that City National Bank has already extended to the cardholder, up to the spending limit that the cardholder has set on the virtual card.
